Emerging Talent - Electrical Internship (Aerospace)

Location: Full-time onsite in Long Beach, California, United States

Pay range: $35–$42 per hour

What you will do

• Contribute to the design and development of space hardware and software.
• Support engineering work for systems used in human-rated space stations.
• Work in one of several focus areas: avionics electrical, avionics test, EMI/EMC, or radio frequency engineering.
• Apply engineering methods to challenging real-world problems across technical teams.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and receive mentorship throughout the 12-week internship.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Field of study: electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Long Beach, California.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Self-directed approach, attention to detail, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing because the role provides access to information and items subject to U.S. export controls.

Nice to have

• Hands-on technical experience through extracurricular or personal projects, volunteering, laboratory research, or previous internships.
• Proficiency with circuit design software such as Altium or LTspice.
• Engineering experience related to avionics, testing, EMI/EMC, or radio frequency systems.
