Defense Engineer

Location: Hybrid, with required reporting at least three times per week to Warren or Milford, Michigan, United States

What you will do

• Develop and support defense technologies and tactical vehicle solutions.
• Design, integrate, validate, and test defense-related systems, vehicles, platforms, sensors, communications equipment, autonomous technologies, and mission-critical hardware or software.
• Apply systems, mechanical, electrical, performance, software, product development, reliability, safety, survivability, armor, computer-aided, and design-and-release engineering expertise.
• Analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative engineering solutions.
• Contribute to defense programs from concept through deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• At least two years of engineering experience supporting defense, military, aerospace, or government programs.
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, validating, supporting, or testing defense-related systems or mission-critical solutions.
• Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid arrangement and report to the assigned Michigan location at least three times per week.
