Senior Backend Software Developer (Data Integration)

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada; in-person, hybrid, and remote work modes are available. Remote hiring is available worldwide, with occasional travel potentially required for in-person team-building events. In-person work is available in Quebec City, Montreal, Weert, or London; hybrid work includes two office pillar days per week.

What you will do

• Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of distributed cloud infrastructure and databases.
• Design and develop flexible, robust systems and tools that can evolve with business and technical needs.
• Build reusable solutions for transforming and enriching data efficiently at scale.
• Design and develop high-performance, intuitive APIs for the platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver well-tested, documented, and optimized solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience, ideally with strong Java experience.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code principles and practices.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality solutions.
• Ability to navigate complex technical environments, solve challenging problems, and adapt as priorities evolve.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps practices, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience working with .NET.
• Interest in or experience contributing to solution design and technical architecture.
