Full Stack Engineer (Event Technology)

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana, United States; hybrid

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus under the current bonus plan.

What you will do

• Develop new features and functions for the WRSTBND platform.
• Build and maintain mobile applications, single-page web applications, and responsive websites.
• Define, develop, and maintain REST-based interfaces and high-performance transactional systems.
• Participate in design and code reviews and collaborate with leadership, project managers, and third-party clients.
• Monitor infrastructure and logs to optimize code and reduce resource waste.
• Document implemented features, project scope, functionality, and implementation details.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of professional software development experience and a BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with modern web technologies including React, Angular, Vue, TypeScript, ES6, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with mobile-first web design and native or cross-platform mobile development using Swift, Kotlin, Java, or React Native.
• Backend development experience with Java or a similar strongly typed object-oriented language, SQL, relational databases, and multithreading.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Buddy, Jenkins, AWS services, and Git-based software development practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, documentation ability, and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with low-code development platforms, especially Mendix.
• Experience with ticketing and live events such as music festivals, conventions, and sporting events.
