Large Load Business Partner/Lead – Economic Forecasting

Location: On-site in Columbus, Ohio, United States

Salary: $116,000–$145,000 for the Principal level or $136,000–$170,000 for the Staff level. Additional compensation includes an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the monthly large-load and data center forecasting, reporting, and performance-tracking process.
• Work with Operating Company economic development teams to collect and validate growth forecasts and customer data.
• Support regulatory filings, Integrated Resource Plans, new generation filings, rate cases, and RTO large-load processes including PJM submissions.
• Develop large-load assumptions and scenario planning guidance for annual load forecasts, revenue planning, and infrastructure decisions.
• Prepare reporting and concise narratives for FP&A, Investor Relations, executive leadership, investor discussions, and quarterly earnings materials.
• Maintain large-load datasets and dashboards and support variance analysis, econometric modeling, electric vehicle and rooftop solar forecasting, and economic impact analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, operations research, statistics, economics, data science, computer science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience for the Principal level or 10 years for the Staff level; equivalent combinations of education and related experience may be considered.
• Exposure to SAS, R, Python, and dashboarding tools such as Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, organization, oral communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work positively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Columbus, Ohio.
