Loan Analyst I (New Business) (Life Insurance Finance)

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $59,000–$77,000 annual salary, plus quarterly incentives

What you will do

• Process premium finance loans while maintaining a customer-first service environment.
• Protect bank assets and portfolio quality by applying lending policies and procedures.
• Prepare credit decisions, recommendations, loan packages, and credit correspondence.
• Coordinate with brokers, clients, Credit Officers, Portfolio Management, and Legal Counsel.
• Oversee loan processing, including exposure model generation, legal document preparation, funding, and collateral management.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities in lending and deposits and follow up on renewal and review requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Critical thinking skills and willingness to learn and take on new initiatives.
• Ability to follow credit principles, lending policies, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with brokers, clients, credit, portfolio management, and legal teams.

Nice to have

• Salesforce experience.
• Insurance or banking experience.
