Associate Banking Advisor

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $99,600–$169,200 USD per year

What you will do

• Coordinate account administration and daily servicing for banking clients, including account opening, payments, overdrafts, fees, borrowing, and exception resolution.
• Respond to client inquiries, communicate account and loan status, and coordinate servicing actions with internal and external partners.
• Support Relationship Managers with business development plans, client presentations, meetings, and portfolio administration.
• Prepare credit presentations, coordinate underwriting, loan documentation, approvals, closings, due diligence, and credit renewals.
• Monitor compliance certificates, loan document deficiencies, credit files, and relationship reports for adherence to policies and procedures.
• Improve service delivery and processes while acting as a subject matter expert and mentoring junior employees.

Requirements

• Knowledge of banking products, services, and functions.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and client-servicing skills.
• 5+ years of experience, or equivalent, in financial servicing or accounting fields with a client-servicing background.
• Formal credit training and at least one year of experience in credit analysis and underwriting.
• Working knowledge of loan agreements, financial statements, loan documentation, compliance requirements, and relationship-management applications.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
