Salary: $70,320–$105,480 per year

What you will do

  • Manage daily lending operations, assigned personnel, work allocation, training, development, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee loan underwriting, member consultations, loan documentation, closings, loan queue rotation, and lending authority recommendations.
  • Manage delinquent-loan monitoring and collection activities, including accurate reporting and repossession of collateral when required.
  • Develop and improve lending processes, procedures, systems, and services, including work with third-party vendors and appraisers.
  • Partner with compliance officers and auditors to address loan exceptions and maintain compliance with lending policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate mortgage pipelines and reporting for real estate concentrations and purchased money mortgages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of experience in a credit union or retail financial organization focused on lending and risk management.
  • At least three years of people-management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization, attention to detail, and professional customer interaction.
  • Working knowledge of computerized financial business applications and personal computer software.
