EHS Specialist - 1st Shift

Location: Onsite at Plant 3 in Pella, Iowa, United States. First shift; no travel is expected.

What you will do

• Investigate moderately complex incidents and injuries to identify root causes and develop appropriate countermeasures.
• Conduct EHS audits to monitor compliance.
• Support operational teams in developing and implementing corrective action plans.
• Educate team members on risk identification and mitigation strategies.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement process improvements and enhance standard work practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, apply a risk-based approach, and positively influence others.
• Ability to perform frequent standing and walking, occasional climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting or handling tasks.
• Ability to work onsite at the hirify.global campus in Pella, Iowa.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with EHS software solutions.
