Pharmacy Executive IV, Pharmacy Advisory - Ambulatory

Location: Virtual Office; regular travel to meet client needs and project timetables

Salary: $135,200–$236,600 annually, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Coordinate consulting activities across multiple client accounts and lead project teams to deliver work within planned timelines and budgets.
• Assess pharmacy and medication management programs across health systems, infusion centers, ambulatory surgery centers, provider offices, and clinics.
• Develop strategic operating plans using pharmacy care standards, industry practices, and benchmark comparisons.
• Support formulary management, therapeutic interchange, product standardization, IV-to-oral conversion, and cost-effective medication use initiatives.
• Develop and enhance pharmacy consulting solutions and present recommendations at national and regional forums.
• Build relationships with health-system executives, pharmacy leaders, clinicians, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree such as PharmD or BSPharm required.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in health-system pharmacy practice, particularly ambulatory care, infusion, or centralized distribution.
• Ability to assess pharmacy programs, analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop actionable strategic recommendations.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, executive communication, relationship-building, and client engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment and travel regularly throughout the year.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business or health administration.
• Experience with Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee activities.
• Experience conducting operational, financial, and clinical healthcare assessments.
• Experience leading pharmacy operations, medication management, or healthcare consulting initiatives.
