AI Software Engineer

Location: Remote in the United States; listed location is Overland Park, Kansas. Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 annually, with potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven features and intelligent agents for real-world legal operations use cases.
• Integrate GenAI and large language models into applications through APIs and microservices.
• Modernize legacy automations using MCP servers, agentic frameworks, and hyper-automation approaches.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers to move prototypes into scalable production systems.
• Build reusable, secure, performant, and cost-efficient components and services.
• Document architectures and best practices, integrate external products, and evaluate emerging AI tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with GenAI, model training, evaluation, and hyperparameter tuning.
• Experience with MCP servers, agentic frameworks, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, .NET/ASP.NET, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with Azure or AWS, AI services, API development, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, and Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus strong communication skills.
