Simulation Software Engineering Intern

Location: Los Angeles, California; in-person collaboration at the Playa Vista office

Salary: $45 per hour

hirify.global is a fast-growing aerospace startup that manufactures satellite buses at scale using software, vertical integration, and manufacturing-oriented hardware.

What you will do

• Develop closed-loop spacecraft test platforms, including six degrees of freedom simulation platforms.
• Contribute to software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop systems.
• Execute simulation testing strategies for satellite systems.
• Validate and verify spacecraft performance, functionality, and reliability.
• Work with the broader engineering team on a 12-week internship project with guidance from a dedicated mentor.

Requirements

• Graduating in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C or C++.
• Interest in engineering, satellites, and solving complex technical challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience with modeling.
• Experience with embedded systems.
