Director, Operations (Semiconductor Equipment)

Salary: $195,000–$250,000 per year

hirify.global develops and manufactures highly technical semiconductor and precision equipment, including the Cobra product family.

What you will do

• Lead U.S. manufacturing operations for the Cobra product family from released BOM through final shipment.
• Manage production planning, capacity, staffing, tooling, equipment, assembly, testing, inspection, and shipment readiness.
• Own quality, cost, delivery, and service performance, including quality gates, traceability, reliability tracking, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
• Coordinate Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Service, Sales, Program Management, and Finance to meet customer commitments.
• Lead supply chain and material readiness, including purchasing, inventory, supplier performance, long-lead components, and alternate-source strategies.
• Direct Cobra installation, preventive maintenance, field troubleshooting, repairs, RMA operations, spare-parts management, and technician training.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or a related technical environment with increasing leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading manufacturing operations in semiconductor equipment, electronics, test and measurement, precision equipment, or another highly technical manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• Experience managing technical and non-technical personnel, including supervisors, managers, engineers, technicians, and production employees.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity management, continuous improvement, root-cause problem solving, budgets, and operational systems such as ERP/MRP.
• Must work on-site in Milpitas, California.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or formal training in continuous improvement methodologies.
