Technical Consultant I (HL7)

What you will do

• Design and implement solutions that connect multiple applications through unified interfaces and dashboards.
• Execute technical implementation tasks, deploy systems in standard environments, and complete validation checks.
• Configure users, roles, and other project-defined system settings.
• Train client IT departments on basic administration, user account management, and device mapping.
• Communicate project updates and troubleshoot minor technical issues by diagnosing problems and proposing resolutions.
• Travel up to 15% and work additional or irregular hours when business needs require.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with HL7 interfaces, messaging, or integration workflows.
• Clear and professional communication in client-facing interactions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required.
• Ability to follow security policies and procedures and work at a computer for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL or other database technologies.
• Familiarity with SFTP and file-transfer processes.
• Exposure to IBM RPG.
• Experience gathering, documenting, or translating client needs into technical requirements.
• Familiarity with issue management, problem management, scope awareness, and cross-functional collaboration.
