TL;DR
Corporate Investigations Manager (Compliance/Legal): Leading complex corporate investigations and risk-based compliance audits across renewable energy construction operations with an accent on evidence analysis, investigative interviews, legally defensible reporting, and bilingual stakeholder engagement. Focus on conducting sensitive investigations in English and Spanish, evaluating ambiguous evidence, coordinating with Legal and outside counsel, and following up on remediation across project sites.

Location: Remote/traveling for corporate use only; must be able to travel 50% and conduct in-person interviews and site visits at project locations.

Salary: $110,617–$160,396 per year

What you will do

  • Lead complex, sensitive, and high-impact corporate investigations from intake and planning through interviews, evidence analysis, findings, reporting, escalation, and remediation follow-up.
  • Investigate allegations involving fraud, bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, financial misconduct, workplace conduct, safety, regulatory compliance, and misuse of company assets.
  • Conduct objective interviews with employees, contractors, leaders, witnesses, and subjects in English and Spanish, including at project sites.
  • Collect, preserve, and analyze documentary, electronic, testimonial, and other evidence while assessing credibility and conflicting information.
  • Prepare investigative reports, executive summaries, case documentation, and materials for Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, and senior leadership.
  • Conduct risk-based compliance audits and monitoring, identify systemic issues and control gaps, and provide technical guidance to contributors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, legal studies, criminal justice, compliance, or a related field, or a foreign equivalent.
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish is required for complex investigative interviews and business documentation.
  • Ability to travel 50% is required.
  • Experience handling complex, ambiguous, and sensitive investigations with limited direction.
  • Ability to work with Legal, Employee Relations, Internal Controls, Safety, Operations, and other stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and investigative independence.

Nice to have

  • Juris Doctorate, LL.M., equivalent foreign law degree, or another professional legal qualification.
  • Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional, or recognized investigative interviewing credentials.
