What you will do

• Design and build front-end experiences for learning, practice, feedback, and progress tracking.
• Create the product’s design language, including typography, layout, color, motion, and reusable components.
• Sketch and iterate in code, shipping production work quickly and refining it based on learner and team feedback.
• Set the quality bar for front-end performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and interaction details.
• Observe learner sessions, run pilots, and translate findings into product improvements.
• Work closely with the founding team on the one-to-one learning experience.

Requirements

• Portfolio of shipped products where the interface was both designed and built, with the ability to explain decisions across design and engineering.
• Strong product design skills in typography, layout, color, motion, and interaction design.
• Strong front-end engineering skills with TypeScript, React or a similar framework, systems-level CSS, animation, accessibility, and performance.
• Experience owning front-end systems end to end in production.
• Consumer product sensibility and strong attention to interaction details.
• AI-native approach to design, coding, and automation, with experience experimenting with modern AI tools.

Nice to have

• Early-stage startup experience.
• Understanding of brand and visual identity across websites, products, and marketing.
• Experience building or maintaining a design system.
• Experience designing conversational or voice interfaces.
• Experience with motion, generative visuals, real-time graphics, video, or marketing design.
