General Manager - Palm Springs (Interior Design Retail)

Location: Palm Springs, California, United States; on-site retail store role with weekend and holiday availability required

Salary: $64,745–$85,000 per year, with potential commission, bonus, geographic premium, and equity awards

What you will do

• Lead, motivate, coach, recognize, and train the store team through goals and regular feedback.
• Manage the full talent acquisition lifecycle and partner with Human Resources on performance management.
• Ensure visual presentation, housekeeping, store procedures, profitability, and expense-control standards are maintained.
• Lead floorplan creation, design presentations, weekly trade activities, and home visits.
• Collaborate with the Regional Manager, share business insights, and develop strategies to grow the store.

Requirements

• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated design skills and passion for the design profession.
• Financial literacy, business acumen, and ability to manage budgets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web navigation, and 3-D rendering programs.
• Ability to routinely move objects weighing more than 20 pounds and follow safety requirements.
• Ability to work on-site in Palm Springs and regularly work weekends and holidays.
