Float Registered Nurse (RN) (Opioid Addiction Treatment)

Location: On-site in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA; float between McDaniel and Desert Inn locations. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Pay: $40.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Administer methadone and other prescribed medications according to individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct health assessments, evaluate dosing readiness, and provide clinical follow-up.
• Coordinate care with pharmacies, laboratories, physicians, community providers, counselors, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain dosing records, clinical documentation, medication inventory, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare courtesy and vacation medication doses to support continuity of care.
• Build community partnerships, conduct outreach, mentor nursing staff, and develop clinical expertise.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment involving prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and frequent computer use.
• Ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment and work around potential bloodborne pathogens.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical addiction or substance abuse treatment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Data entry and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and handle high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of dosing equipment, centrifuges, test strips, and breathalyzers.
