Annual salary: $111,030–$211,200 USD

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and debug software tools, workflows, and methodologies for design automation.
• Gather and document user stories and technical requirements.
• Write clean, efficient functional and test code.
• Automate build and deployment pipelines.
• Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of software tools.
• Develop scalable automation solutions supporting hardware design, process design, and manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field completed by the start date.
• At least 6 months of experience with Python, Tcl, or C++ programming and scripting.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience with version control systems and EDA tools.
• Ability to work in the hybrid model at the hirify.global site in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
• Experience implementing solutions with large language models.
• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys ICV, or Siemens Calibre for physical design, place-and-route scripting, and DRC verification.
• Experience building job management tools for distributed computing systems.
• Experience with workflow automation, CAD software administration, and deployment.
