Audit Manager (Technology, Communications, & Life Sciences)

Location: Hybrid, San Jose, California, United States. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.

Salary: $117,000–$174,700.

What you will do

• Deliver industry-focused audit, assurance, and consulting services to middle-market technology, communications, and life sciences clients.
• Engage with clients throughout the year to understand business goals and challenges.
• Test internal controls, assess deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Manage audit fieldwork, quality, timelines, staffing, billings, collections, and client profitability.
• Provide financial statement guidance, business recommendations, and insight through review and analysis.
• Build client and community relationships while mentoring and developing team members.

Requirements

• Four-year degree and CPA certification.
• At least five years of experience.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or advanced degree in accounting.
• Five or more years of financial statement auditing experience within a public accounting firm.
• Technology and/or life sciences industry experience.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience mentoring and counseling associates.
• Management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, maintain ethical knowledge, stay current with applicable strategies, manage details and broader business context, and complete quality work on time.
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills.
