Audit Manager – NorCal Financial Services

Location: Hybrid role based in San Francisco, California; a Walnut Creek, California pay range is also listed.

Salary: $130,000–$172,950 in San Francisco; $126,500–$166,300 in Walnut Creek.

What you will do

• Deliver audit, assurance, and consulting services for financial services clients.
• Build trusted client relationships and understand business goals and challenges.
• Test internal controls, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Manage audit fieldwork, quality, delivery timelines, staffing, billing, collections, and client profitability.
• Provide financial statement guidance and business recommendations based on audit results.
• Mentor and develop associates while contributing to business development and professional learning.

Requirements

• Four-year degree required; a master's or advanced degree is preferred.
• CPA certification required.
• At least five years of auditing or assurance experience required.
• Management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, deliver client service, and complete projects accurately and on time.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship is preferred.

Nice to have

• Financial services assurance experience in mortgage banking or financial institutions/banking.
• Two years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
• Advanced software and Microsoft Suite skills.
