Audit Manager (Real Estate)

Location: Hybrid role based in San Francisco, California, with Walnut Creek also listed as a compensation location.

Salary: $130,000–$172,950 in San Francisco; $126,500–$166,300 in Walnut Creek.

What you will do

• Lead assurance and consulting engagements for real estate clients.
• Build client relationships, understand business goals, and provide financial statement and business guidance.
• Design and implement testing of internal controls, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Manage audit fieldwork, engagement staffing, billings, collections, profitability, quality, and timely delivery.
• Deliver analysis and business insight based on audit testing and client information.
• Mentor associates and support team development through the hirify.global Care and Teach philosophy.

Requirements

• Four-year degree required; a master's or advanced degree is preferred.
• CPA certification required.
• Five years of auditing or assurance experience required.
• Management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide client service, maintain professional ethics, and deliver high-quality work on time.
• Developed software and Microsoft Suite skills; eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Nice to have

• Assurance experience in the real estate industry.
• Two years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
• Master's or other advanced degree.
