Audit Senior Associate (Asset Management)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: $85,100–$130,000 annual pay range in California; national range of $77,400–$100,000.

What you will do

• Provide assurance and consulting services to asset management broker-dealer clients as a member of engagement teams.
• Engage with clients throughout the year to gather information, complete testing, and respond to questions.
• Plan and supervise audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing of client balance sheets and income statements.
• Test internal controls, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Discuss business recommendations with Managers and Partners, build client relationships, and support the development of team members.

Requirements

• Four-year degree required.
• Eligibility to obtain a CPA license required.
• Three years of experience required.
• Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal relations, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills, along with initiative and adaptability.
• Microsoft Suite skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA exams.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or advanced degree in accounting.
• Three or more years of financial statement auditing experience within a public accounting firm.
• Asset Management industry experience.
