Assurance Senior Associate (Audit)

Location: Hybrid role based in Seattle, WA, with other locations in Everett, Bellingham, and Tacoma, WA.

Salary: $89,000–$115,000 in Seattle, Everett, and Tacoma; $81,200–$105,000 in Bellingham.

What you will do

• Provide industry-focused assurance and consulting services as a member of client engagement teams.
• Engage with clients throughout the year to gather information, complete testing, and respond to questions.
• Plan and supervise audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing of balance sheets and income statements.
• Test internal controls, assess deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Discuss business recommendations with Managers and Partners, build client relationships, and support team member development.

Requirements

• Four-year degree.
• Eligibility to obtain a CPA license.
• Three years of experience.
• Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal relations, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills, along with initiative and adaptability.
• Microsoft Suite skills.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA exams.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or advanced degree in accounting.
• Three or more years of financial statement auditing experience within a public accounting firm.
