Mechanic Trainee (Frac Equipment)

What you will do

• Work alongside mentors, maintenance personnel, and the Learning and Development Team to develop proficiency in common maintenance tasks.
• Learn the basic functions of each maintenance group and perform work under frequent supervision.
• Complete hands-on skill evaluations and developmental competencies for promotion to Shop Mechanic 1.
• Perform general housekeeping and routine maintenance of company property.
• Follow HSE policies, attend required safety training and meetings, use PPE, and practice safe driving.
• Attend field operation sites only when accompanied and monitored.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent required; a technical or associate’s degree is preferred.
• Effective English communication and work-recording skills required.
• Current valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Physical ability to perform the job, including occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn work-related software such as Microsoft Office 365 and Power BI.
• Availability for a 14/7 shift and 12+ hour workdays, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
