Technology Intern – Software Engineering (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States. Ten-week, in-person internship program.

What you will do

• Contribute to real financial technology solutions across applications, databases, data pipelines, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based platforms.
• Support the design, development, deployment, maintenance, and modernization of software systems.
• Work alongside application and platform development teams using Agile development practices.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders on meaningful engineering projects.
• Use coding and automation, including shell scripting, low-code automation, or other approaches.
• Gain exposure to generative AI capabilities, CI/CD, test-driven development, and modern engineering principles.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related major at an accredited college or university.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
• Experience learning programming languages and technology tools such as Java, Python, SQL, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and data-interpretation skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with evidence of teamwork and leadership through projects or extracurricular activities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
