Senior Litigation Paralegal

What you will do

• Support product liability, commercial, employment, and regulatory litigation matters, as well as investigations and pre-litigation work.
• Coordinate discovery, document collection, litigation holds, document productions, pleadings, correspondence, and case files with outside counsel.
• Lead subpoena responses, records requests, and internal investigations, including interviews, records reviews, and written summaries.
• Maintain case calendars, deadlines, litigation trackers, and legal department protocols.
• Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Product Development, HR, and IT to gather information and coordinate responses.
• Support litigation budgets, legal spend tracking, invoice review, and the development of litigation management best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of litigation paralegal experience, including 3 years supporting corporate clients in a legal department or law firm.
• Strong knowledge of the litigation lifecycle, discovery obligations, and state and federal court procedures.
• Significant experience responding to subpoenas and records requests.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and litigation support tools such as Relativity, CounselLink, CaseMap, NetDocuments, and eDiscovery platforms.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, written communication, interpersonal, and confidentiality-handling skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or broader life sciences industry.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, product liability defense, cross-border litigation, government inquiries, and regulatory investigations.
