TL;DR

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; hybrid in-office/remote schedule

What you will do

  • Support attorneys across litigation and energy and project development matters by drafting correspondence, memoranda, affidavits, motions, petitions, testimony, briefs, and settlements.
  • Conduct factual and legal research covering statutes, administrative codes, and regulatory agency decisions.
  • Prepare and file submissions with state and federal agencies while tracking filings, deadlines, docket entries, and calendars.
  • Coordinate documentation for major rate cases, applications, and petitions, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
  • Maintain litigation databases and case management systems, and manage discovery platforms and confidential case materials.
  • Prepare hearing exhibits, review transcripts, and create witness binders for cross-examination preparation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of litigation experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Westlaw, and Lexis.
  • Ability to draft clear legal documents, conduct research, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to plan and execute case strategies and work independently.

Nice to have

  • Experience in an energy or utility setting or legal practice.
  • Experience managing team dynamics and mentoring junior legal practice support or administrative staff.
