Content Prep Technician

Location: Draper, Utah, United States

Salary: $20.90–$26.13 per hour, with eligibility for bonus, equity, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.

What you will do

• Receive, inventory, and track physical and digital content, equipment, and incoming materials.
• Maintain Workfront production tickets, process rework requests, and resolve internal errors.
• Stage, organize, and import files into proprietary imaging workflows, including mapping, web crawls, and SFTP.
• Monitor production pipelines, troubleshoot file and system issues, and track quality standards.
• Coordinate drive processing, imports, locations, error resolution, shipping, receiving, and mailing activities.
• Prepare and verify digital delivery packages, documentation, drive transfers, and archival shipments.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail, organization, written and verbal communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong familiarity with MySQL or databases and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in or be based at the Draper, Utah location.

Nice to have

• Experience in archives, libraries, digital content management, digitization, or archival workflows.
• Experience with family-history research, content production, or digital asset management.
