Field Service Technician II (Part Time) (Medical Devices)

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States. Part-time schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. The role involves work in hospitals and service environments, customer account visits, on-call coverage up to 24/7 including weekends and holidays, and operation of company vehicles.

Salary: $46,400–$63,800 per year.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on assigned medical devices.
• Diagnose malfunctioning components and use appropriate tools for adjustments and repairs.
• Provide on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays, and visit customer accounts when required.
• Load, unload, and remove medical products weighing up to 1,680 pounds.
• Complete service-contract activities, generate service revenue, and support customer service delivery.
• Safely operate fleet vehicles ranging from cargo vans to 26,000-pound trucks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age and a valid driver's license.
• Prior technical or mechanical repair experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT physical card.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice to have

• Technical or trade school training.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing medical devices.
• Leadership experience assisting with training other team members and addressing customers.
