MedTech Field Service Software Tech Entry Level - Eastern Time Zone (MedTech)

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States; travel throughout the United States with assignments typically requiring 1–3 weeks onsite. Candidates must be within 1 hour of a major airport, have access to a personal vehicle, and be available for three weeks per month.

Salary: $27–$30 per hour.

What you will do

• Organize, test, install, configure, and update medical devices.
• Install and configure hardware, software, network products, equipment, and workstations.
• Conduct routine checks and record product-test data after installation and configuration.
• Troubleshoot and repair medical devices in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
• Manage project timelines and customer needs while working independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related technical experience.
• Experience with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices.
• Active and unrestricted driver license, personal vehicle, and willingness to drive up to 3 hours from home for assignments.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Healthcare facility credentialing and required immunizations are also required.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of field technical experience involving hardware and software installations.
• Experience in field service, engineering, biomedical technology, maintenance, electronics, electrical work, or IT.
• Biomedical Technician experience or relevant military electronics, maintenance, or IT experience.
