National Director, Field Reimbursement (Diabetes)

Location: Philadelphia, PA, USA; eligible for hire in select U.S. locations

Salary: USD 210,000–230,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead field reimbursement activities for the assigned diabetes-focused partner and coordinate in-field execution.
• Build, manage, coach, and develop a team of Regional Access Directors and field reimbursement leaders.
• Identify market opportunities, challenges, competitor activity, and trends, then implement action plans through the team.
• Support business planning, partner communication, performance evaluation, and achievement of specialty targets.
• Ensure accurate responses on products, policies, reimbursement processes, and related business issues.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and patient access processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced healthcare or scientific degree such as MS, RN, PA, PharmD, or PhD is strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including payer policy and product access.
• 8+ years of experience with benefit verification, prior authorization, or equivalent patient access work.
• 5+ years leading successful field access teams, with documented field reimbursement management results.
• Detailed knowledge of pharmacy and medical benefit models, CMS policies, and Medicare Parts B and D coverage.
• Strong analytical, presentation, decision-making, talent development, and cross-functional influence skills.

Nice to have

• Pediatric endocrinology or endocrinology experience.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical functions such as product marketing, managed care, field sales, case management, or large healthcare practices.
• Advanced degree and knowledge of HUB/reimbursement services and patient access programs.
