Director, Contracting & Network Development (Medicaid/Medicare)

Location: Remote within Missouri, with a home office in the St. Louis, MO area and regular travel for internal and provider-facing meetings.

Salary: $134,600–$249,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee provider contracting, network development, and provider relations activities.
• Recruit and contract provider networks for new, prospective, and expanding markets.
• Support new business launches while balancing market conditions, provider availability, budgets, and resources.
• Perform complex financial analyses and develop contracting strategies to improve medical costs and achieve financial goals.
• Manage contracting and network development staff and external consultants.
• Monitor performance, address process and quality gaps, and communicate network strategy and planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of combined experience in contracting, network development, or provider relations.
• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare contracting and negotiating hospital, large physician group, and ancillary service agreements.
• Previous management experience, including hiring, training, work assignment, and staff performance management.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Must reside in Missouri.
