Director, Research & Consulting

Location: Eagle, Distrito Federal, Delegación Miguel Hidalgo. Hybrid work with at least two days per week in the assigned hirify.global office.

hirify.global provides credit data, analytics, and financial services insights to help lenders understand consumers, manage risk, and identify growth opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead advanced consumer lending research on market trends, consumer behavior, emerging risks, and growth opportunities.
• Translate research findings and data-driven insights into business strategies and revenue-generating opportunities.
• Act as a subject matter expert in consumer credit, lending operations, risk management, and financial services trends.
• Partner with Sales and client-facing teams on executive-level customer conversations and complex solution discussions.
• Represent hirify.global at conferences, customer events, advisory boards, and media engagements.
• Author research reports, white papers, articles, and industry publications, and lead customer advisory boards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in financial services, retail banking, lending, risk management, consulting, or related industries.
• Extensive knowledge of consumer lending products, credit risk practices, customer lifecycle management, and credit data solutions.
• Experience designing and leading quantitative research, including study design, data analysis, interpretation, and executive presentations.
• Advanced understanding of economic, regulatory, and market factors affecting consumer lending and financial institution performance.
• Master’s degree or higher in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Operations Research, Banking, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced data analysis and research methodology skills, including SQL, R, Python, SAS, or similar tools, plus strong data visualization and executive communication capabilities.

• Executive-level public speaking and keynote presentation experience.
• Media relations and thought leadership experience.
• Experience managing customer advisory boards, executive councils, or industry working groups.
• Knowledge of digital lending, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies in financial services.
• Experience mentoring analysts and developing research talent.
