Senior Medical Writer - Promotional Medical Writing

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $75,000–$112,500 USD annually, plus discretionary annual bonus.

hirify.global is a payer marketing agency supporting pharmaceutical and life sciences clients through evidence generation, analysis, and communication.

What you will do

• Serve as the content point person for assigned pharmaceutical and healthcare accounts.
• Develop medically accurate print and digital content, including value proposition slide decks, advisory boards, internal training resources, and promotional education materials.
• Conduct literature reviews and create annotations supporting promotional claims.
• Coordinate with account teams and clients to refine content in line with strategic objectives.
• Participate in medical, legal, and regulatory reviews, project meetings, and new business planning.
• Mentor junior staff and travel occasionally for client meetings.

Requirements

• BA/BS in life sciences, or BA/BS in English with relevant pharmaceutical agency, medical communications, or healthcare advertising experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in medical communications, pharmaceuticals, and/or healthcare.
• Command of American Medical Association style.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with PubMed, Google Scholar, and other scientific search engines.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical ability, prioritization, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience evaluating and summarizing healthcare business literature, scientific literature, and insights data for managed care audiences.
• Knowledge of managed markets, healthcare delivery systems, health reform legislation, HMO, MCO, or PBM environments.
• Ability to develop engaging promotional content.
