Senior Medical Writer (Medical Communications/Publications)

What you will do

• Research, write, revise, and edit scientific content for medical communications initiatives.
• Develop clear content outlines, drafts, and referenced deliverables supported by relevant research and data.
• Incorporate client and stakeholder feedback while maintaining accuracy, grammar, flow, and prescribed style.
• Manage project communications, provide status updates, and raise obstacles affecting timelines or budgets.
• Identify areas requiring additional expertise and coordinate input from project team members.
• Follow editorial, publication, and ethical procedures while meeting project scope, deadlines, and budgets.

Requirements

• Advanced degree required: PharmD, MD, PhD, or MS.
• At least 3 years of medical writing experience within a medical communications agency.
• Experience with editorial and publications processes required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and scientific research.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with high attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
