What you will do
- Lead, manage, coach, and develop the Financial Control and FP&A teams.
- Oversee actuals reporting, balance sheet management, financial controls, risk management, VAT recovery, cash, and long-term invested funds.
- Lead the group external audit and prepare high-quality group statutory accounts.
- Manage medium-term financial plans, budgets, forecasts, business cases, and financial analysis.
- Lead the implementation of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 and support subsidiary readiness for the 2027 audit.
- Integrate acquisitions into the group structure and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across .
Requirements
- Recognised professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Experience leading audit, statutory accounts, group reporting, budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Solid technical accounting experience, ideally including Charity SORP and FRS 102 in a complex organisation or group.
- Experience leading large teams, with strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Experience improving processes and establishing efficient, robust financial controls.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and make impactful board-level recommendations.
