Full-Stack AI Engineer

Location: On-site five days per week in Berlin, Germany; candidates must be based in Berlin or willing to relocate.

Salary: €80,000–€120,000 annually

hirify.global is an early-stage B2B product company building AI-powered tools for construction professionals.

What you will do

• Build and own end-to-end AI features, including document versioning and agentic chat workflows.
• Design and implement full-stack functionality across database schemas, LLM integration, evaluation, and UI.
• Develop evaluation, scoring, error-analysis, workflow-harness, and decision-trace tooling for AI systems.
• Build human review and approval interfaces that make AI outputs trustworthy, auditable, and linked to evidence.
• Model construction ontologies and project graphs, resolve entities across documents, and extend multimodal ingestion for PDFs, scans, drawings, and 3D models.
• Build integrations with document-management and ERP systems, scalable data pipelines, and native BIM/DWG processing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer and a track record of delivering production-grade applied AI features.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with backend APIs and database schemas, using Fastify, Prisma, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience integrating and optimizing LLM APIs, working with cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, ETL workflows, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Experience designing AI evaluation frameworks, conducting error analysis, and building internal platform or developer-facing tooling.
• On-site availability in Berlin five days per week; willingness to relocate to Germany if not already based in Berlin. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Prefect or Airflow.
• Experience with document processing, OCR, or multimodal data ingestion.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog or Langfuse.
• German language skills.
