H/F Connectivity & Communications System Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Toulouse, France; French contract

What you will do

• Deliver system engineering activities within time, cost, and quality constraints.
• Lead integration, verification, certification, and security accreditation activities.
• Capture customer requirements and ensure their integration into system designs.
• Generate, track, review, and validate design documentation.
• Participate in technical reviews, progress meetings, and customer discussions.
• Coordinate with the Chief Engineering Office, systems work packages, and communications design offices.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering; a PhD or degree in telecommunications engineering is valuable.
• Senior experience in communications, connectivity, or avionics-related roles.
• Knowledge of aircraft and communications architectures on at least one platform, such as UAS, MRTT, C295, or A400M.
• Familiarity with system engineering, DPs/ABDs, and certification processes.
• Knowledge of voice, IP/digital, and tactical datalink communications systems, with awareness of cybersecurity implications for airborne platforms.
• Experience with project management, DOORS requirements traceability, configuration control, model-based systems development using Simulink, Matlab, or Cameo, and strong problem-solving skills. Fluent English is required.
