Technical Account Manager, DRAM Business Enablement (DRAM)

Location: Daily onsite presence at the San Jose, California office and U.S. headquarters is required. Domestic and international travel is required, typically approximately 1–2 times per year depending on customer needs.

Salary: $163,000–$253,000 USD per year, plus incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Enable customer design-in, qualification, and selection of Samsung DRAM memory solutions.
• Support DDR-based DIMMs, discrete LPDDR and DDR components, and HBM products for datacenter, PC, and consumer applications.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate solutions with Samsung headquarters in Korea.
• Support self-qualification activities, including signal integrity, power integrity, and timing analysis.
• Manage PCNs, quarterly technical reviews, technology roadmaps, and market overviews.
• Lead customer relationships, technical communication, onsite problem solving, and cross-functional issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field with 10+ years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree with 8+ years. A PhD with 5+ years is preferred.
• Experience with DRAM memory design, architecture, system architecture, and DRAM product support.
• Background in signal integrity, power integrity, timing measurements, memory controllers, memory PHY, RAS, semiconductor manufacturing, fab processes, and advanced packaging.
• Previous applications, development, design, validation, or customer-facing technical experience in the semiconductor or memory industry.
• Professional fluency in Korean and English is required for technical communication with customers and Samsung headquarters in Korea.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally with varying frequency and duration based on project requirements.
