Category Manager - EU Food (E-commerce)

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end EU Food category, including assortment, pricing, suppliers, inventory, and promotions.
• Build and develop strategic partnerships with national, regional, and local suppliers.
• Analyze category performance, customer demand, market trends, competitor activity, and assortment gaps.
• Optimize product assortment and inventory availability to meet local customer needs.
• Develop and execute pricing, promotional, sales, and long-term category strategies.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to improve the customer experience.

Requirements

• Experience in category management, buying, merchandising, procurement, or commercial management, ideally in the EU Food category.
• Strong understanding of customers, market dynamics, product assortment, and commercial principles.
• Experience managing suppliers and building commercial partnerships.
• Strong analytical, commercial, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proactive, results-oriented approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
