External Supply Planner (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid role in Allschwil, Basel-Country, Switzerland; up to 10% domestic travel and flexible hours supporting US, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific schedules.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain volume, detailed, and material supply plans for externally manufactured and packaged products.
• Execute SAP transactions, including purchase orders and master data maintenance, to support reliable MRP and ERP outputs.
• Identify and manage short- and long-term supply risks, resolve daily supply issues, and maintain continuity of supply.
• Manage inventory and SLOB processes across distribution centers, external manufacturing sites, and contract manufacturing organizations.
• Coordinate forecasts, priorities, capacity, schedules, and service levels with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Support S&OP, business planning, product launches, performance reporting, continuous improvement, and digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification; Supply Chain or Business focus preferred.
• At least four years of experience in supply chain planning, operations, or a related field.
• Business acumen in supply chain and financial processes, with proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, presentation, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Fluent written and verbal English is required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and work flexible hours across US, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific schedules.

Nice to have

• APICS and/or Lean Certification.
• Experience in master production scheduling, inventory management, or supply chain management.
• Experience with scenario analysis, S&OP, APO/OMP, and pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical business processes.
