2027 Summer Internship - Industrial Engineering - PPE/IE (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Mobile Area, Alabama, United States; 100% onsite

hirify.global operates a commercial aircraft manufacturing facility in Mobile, Alabama, producing A320 Family and A220 aircraft.

What you will do

• Understand disruptions on the production line and implement technical solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Introduce aircraft modifications into the production line.
• Prepare in-station plans defining when job tasks will be completed within takt time.
• Identify root causes, evaluate options, and implement solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate problems, solutions, and feedback.
• Complete a 10–12-week internship with mentorship and exposure to real-world manufacturing problems.

Requirements

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• At least sophomore standing.
• Related school project experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, including Gmail, Sheets, and Docs.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future need for visa sponsorship or work authorization support.
