Senior Director, Engineering (Manufacturing)

Location: Andover, Massachusetts, United States; onsite role

Salary: $230,450–$384,000 USD annual salary, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Build, lead, and develop engineering groups creating next-generation gas delivery and flow control products.
• Oversee the mechanical and electronics engineering development teams, including engineering budgets, policies, standards, and operational controls.
• Direct product development from product definition through design, evaluation, release, and production.
• Coordinate engineering activities with Product Marketing, Project Management, Operations, Quality, Reliability, Sales, Service, and customers.
• Lead value engineering and long-term product cost-control and profitability initiatives.
• Maintain technology and R&D roadmaps, evaluate emerging technologies, and lead technical customer engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of cross-functional management experience in a product development environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, gas flow, pressure control, and electrical engineering principles.
• Knowledge of engineering management, project management, product development processes, problem-solving methodologies, DFMEA, and reliability processes.
• Experience mentoring engineering managers and staff, with strong critical thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not available.
