Senior Integration Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Hawthorne, California, United States. Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Pay range: $40.12–$56.95 USD per hour in California.

What you will do

• Assemble, install, integrate, and test liquid rocket engine hardware and propulsion subsystems.
• Perform high-precision integration of large, small, fragile, and complex mechanical assemblies using calibrated tools.
• Build, operate, and maintain test facilities and fluid systems for propellant, high-pressure, and cryogenic operations.
• Conduct engine and subsystem tests, including fluid handling, high-pressure operations, and real-time sensor monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and maintain fluid, mechanical, and basic electrical systems while documenting build, test, and maintenance activities.
• Support rapid development iterations, improve safety and test processes, collaborate with shop-floor teams, and operate forklifts and overhead lifting equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• At least 6 years of experience in a production, mechanical, or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on hardware integration and high-pressure testing experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, work instructions, specifications, bills of material, and P&IDs.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted and work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Must be a U.S. person under applicable export control rules or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, aviation, military, or other high-reliability environments.
• Experience assembling and testing propulsion systems.
• Tube fitting and bending experience with common industry fitting systems.
• Experience with gaseous oxygen, liquid propellant, and cryogenic handling and systems maintenance.
