Senior Supervisor, Manufacturing (Medtech)

Location: Hayward, California, United States; onsite manufacturing plant and cleanroom work required

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses

What you will do

• Supervise daily production, scheduling, staffing, material management, training, auditing, and compliance activities.
• Lead and develop manufacturing personnel through hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and development planning.
• Review and approve batch and system records and support product release activities.
• Lead technical reviews, investigations, troubleshooting, process improvement, equipment integration, and validation activities.
• Represent manufacturing during FDA inspections and ensure adherence to cGMPs, SOPs, and EHS requirements.
• Implement lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and manufacturing cost-savings initiatives, including 5S, visual management, and kaizen.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, processes, cGMPs, EHS requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Leadership, troubleshooting, critical-thinking, statistical-data analysis, and process-improvement skills.
• Ability to supervise multiple groups or shifts, manage priorities in a manufacturing plant, and present information during regulatory or client inspections.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise software.
