In-House Surveyor (Building Surveying)

What you will do

• Communicate with customers, contractors, and insurer clients by phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Assess the validity of building insurance claims and prepare detailed schedules of works.
• Update repair scopes using in-house rates and evaluate contractor estimates.
• Negotiate cash settlements with policyholders for property repairs.
• Manage panel contractors and coordinate repair schedules and costs.
• Settle claims under delegated authority.

Requirements

• On-site construction experience, buildings insurance claims experience, extensive trade experience, or Building Surveyor qualifications.
• Graduate Building Surveyor candidates are welcome.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High standard of customer service and attention to detail.
• Self-motivation, flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
