Linguistic Quality & Terminology Manager

Location: Fully remote from the European Union, the UK, or the US/Canada West Coast; overlap with Japan business hours is essential

What you will do

• Build cross-language quality governance from the ground up across 14 languages.
• Create and maintain style guides and terminology management frameworks.
• Evaluate vendor linguistic quality and hold vendors accountable.
• Own end-to-end Japanese localization for PMI's most quality-sensitive market.
• Design scalable frameworks that ensure consistent translation quality.

Requirements

• Native Japanese speaker required.
• Deep experience in terminology management and linguistic quality required.
• Ability to work in Japanese and English.
• Full-time availability required; this is an embedded contractor position rather than an additional freelance engagement.
• Availability for overlap with Japan business hours required.
