Product Designer (Mobile)

Location: Milan or remote within the EU; occasional travel to San Francisco and Milan offices may be required

What you will do

• Design and evolve end-to-end experiences for the hirify.global mobile app, from information architecture and low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity interfaces.
• Conduct usability studies and user interviews, using qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate design outcomes.
• Iterate on the app experience to improve user engagement, membership value, and retention.
• Build, document, and organize UI components for the design library and system.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Brand, Marketing, and Research & Development teams to ship mobile products and features.
• Present design evolutions to Product, Brand, and C-suite stakeholders and provide expertise on mobile interaction patterns.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in UX and UI design, with a strong portfolio containing live mobile examples.
• Experience shipping designs to public users and using data to demonstrate their success or failure.
• Ability to evaluate the technical implications of design decisions and balance user value with technical effort.
• Experience coaching junior designers and collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers.
• Ability to manage the design process independently from end to end, iterate quickly, and work in ambiguous environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related design field or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building consumer-facing mobile apps at small or midsize technology startups, supported by data and reviews.
• Experience designing Android applications.
