Raw Material Analyst (Food Ingredients)

Location: Tecomán, Colima, Mexico; on-site role

What you will do

• Receive, verify, record, label, and store incoming raw materials while maintaining traceability and compliance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions in ERP systems while protecting data integrity.
• Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
• Manage and document material transfers between warehouses, storage locations, and facilities.
• Monitor minimum, maximum, safety stock, reorder points, obsolete inventory, and slow-moving materials.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability and operational continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials management, or supply chain functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management, cycle counting, reconciliation, material traceability, handling, and storage practices.
• Experience with ERP inventory records and transactions; SAP experience is preferred.
• Experience supporting audits, inventory investigations, and compliance activities.
• Intermediate English proficiency, with strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in food ingredients, food manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, or process industries.
• Experience managing regulated, restricted, or special-handling materials.
• Proven ability to improve inventory accuracy, material traceability, and inventory control processes.
